Kitchen Handle
The brief for this project was to design a new handle for a bathroom taking into account a casting process would be used for the production method. For me the aim of this design was to produce something simplistic both for the casting process and a contemporary feel whilst ensuring it was linked at some level to the area it would be used.
This design took the form of 3 water droplets to link it with a kitchen theme. The model was then rapid prototyped and painted with a BBQ spray to give a cast Iron appearance. The final model can be seen in the second image along side a pair of pliers which were modelled using MDF as an introduction to modelling.
